About

History: An ancient, sprawling sandy landscape where infant Lord Krishna and his older brother Balaram used to crawl, walk, and play with their cowherd friends.

Pujas Performed: Sand Vandana and Aarti in the adjoining Raman Bihariji Temple.

Benefits of Puja: Believed to cure skin ailments, bring immense physical vitality, and grant the innocent joy of childhood to the mind.

Sevas: Rolling in the sand, feeding the deer and birds in the sanctuary, and Gau Seva.

Deities: The primary object of devotion is the sacred, incredibly soft sand (Reti) itself, infused with Krishna's energy.

Fact: Unlike typical temples, the primary act of devotion here is literally rolling around in the dust to absorb the blessings of Krishna's playful energy.

Timings: 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Darshan Booking:
No official online VIP booking; general entry is free.
