About

History: Established in 1542 by Gopala Bhatta Goswami. According to legend, the deity miraculously self-manifested (swayambhu) from a sacred Shaligram shila to grant Darshan to his devotee.

Pujas Performed: Mangala Aarti, Dhoop Aarti, Shringar Aarti, and Rajbhog.

Benefits of Puja: Grants intense spiritual bliss, removes harsh karma, and brings the devotee closer to the pure, original teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Sevas: Shringar Seva and Chhappan Bhog.

Deities: The incredibly beautiful, small deity of Radha Raman. There is no physical deity of Radha; a golden crown sits next to Krishna to signify her presence.

Fact: The fire in the temple kitchen was lit by reciting Vedic mantras over 400 years ago and has never been extinguished since. All Bhog is cooked on this eternal fire.

Timings: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
