History: A highly sacred, enclosed forest established by the great saint Swami Haridas. It is considered the exact location where the divine Maha Raas (dance) takes place.
Pujas Performed: Shringar of the Rang Mahal, Aarti, and Kirtan.
Benefits of Puja: Cultivates Madhurya Bhava (the mood of sweet, romantic devotion) and grants the rare blessing of experiencing Krishna's secret pastimes.
Sevas: Offering of Makhan Mishri, Paan (betel leaf), and Datun (neem twigs) in the Rang Mahal.
Deities: Banke Bihari appeared here originally. Now, a bed is decorated daily for Radha and Krishna.
Fact: The trees here are completely hollow and mysteriously intertwined. Absolutely no human or animal is allowed inside after 8 PM, as it is believed anyone who witnesses the night-time Raas Leela loses their sight or sanity.
