About

History: Believed to be the oldest existing temple in Vrindavan, established by Sanatana Goswami in 1580. It sits atop the 50-foot-high Aditya Tila.

Fact: The original deity of Madan Mohan was moved to Karauli in Rajasthan to protect it from Aurangzeb's attacks; the temple in Vrindavan houses a perfect replica.
