About

History: Constructed in 1814 by Seth Gokul Das Parikh, the treasurer of the Gwalior State, it is one of the oldest, largest, and most heavily visited temples in Mathura city.

Pujas Performed: Mangala Aarti, Shringar, Rajbhog, and Shayan Aarti.

Benefits of Puja: Grants royal grace, justice in worldly affairs, and harmony in marital life.

Sevas: Hindola Seva (swing decoration) and Phool Bangla.

Deities: A magnificent black marble idol of Lord Krishna as the King of Dwarka, alongside a white marble idol of Queen Rukmini.

Fact: The temple is particularly famous nationwide for its spectacular Shravan month "Jhulan" (swing) festival and incredibly vibrant Holi celebrations.
