About

History: The central pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Balaram, Krishna's older brother. The deity was discovered in the Kshir Sagar kund by Goswami Gokulnath.

Pujas Performed: Mangala Aarti, Rajbhog, and Shayan Aarti.

Benefits of Puja: Grants immense physical and mental strength, agricultural prosperity, and harmony amongst siblings.

Sevas: Offering of Bhang (a traditional drink), Makhan, and Chhappan Bhog.

Deities: A massive, ancient, black-stone deity of Lord Balaram with huge eyes, holding a cup of Varuni, alongside his wife Revati.

Fact: Lord Balaram is the presiding deity of the entire Braj region (the elder brother of the house). Devotees traditionally visit him to successfully complete their Braj Yatra.
